Project Selection Process − Combined Score of the Panelists

Each project will be judged by a panel of 4 members drawn from QuEST Global. Each member of the panel will evaluate the projects at the various stages and a final score will be arrived by combining the individual scores of the panelists.

There will be four stages of review

  1. Stage 1

Each team's abstract will be reviewed by a panel. This along with the other criteria (like team, topic etc) will form the basis of approval to continue in the competition.

  2. Stage 2

The interim report will carry a weightage of 15% and will be reviewed by the panel. There is no qualification/approval that happens at this stage.

  3. Stage 3

All the final reports received will be reviewed by the panel. Based on the quality of work presented in the report (and other criteria detailed under Review criteria), top 10 projects will be selected for a final presentation and evaluation (Stage 4). Every team that is selected will be given guidelines and instructions on what they need to present at the final stage.

  4.  Stage 4

An event will be held at QuEST Global to evaluate the final 10 engineering projects. Each team will have to make a presentation to the panel and defend their work. Based on the presentation and overall technical contents, the top 3 teams will be selected by the Review panel.
