QuEST Global participated in an Industry Round Table on Defence Procurement & Production organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in partnership with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) & US India Business Council( USIBC) on November 17, 2011. This event saw a congregation of business leaders and senior officials from Ministry of Defence ( India & US). Mr. Suresh V, GM Finance & Company Secretary, QuEST Global was one of the key speakers at the round table. Sharing his views on, "Experience on offsets by Indian Industry", Suresh touched upon the salient features of Indian Aviation Offset policy. He predicted that India would be the hub for defence procurement & it would take up overall defence production upto 70% vs. current 30%. QuEST Global, a diversified engineering services & manufacturing company is one of the few companies eligible for commercial & defence products and works. It provides necessary documentation support in meeting offset requirements. QuEST is one of the first private sector companies to be selected and approved by Indian Ministry of Defence for Offset via defence contract. |
