Chris joined QuEST Global when the business and assets of GKN CEDU Limited were acquired on the 1st December 2011. He is currently leading Strategic customer relationships with key customers for the UK region. Chris joined GKN in 2000 as Financial Controller of GKN CEDU Limited, becoming Finance Director in 2001 and Managing Director in 2003. Chris was engaged in the creation of GKNAES Pty Ltd in 2001 and managed the business from 2003 to 2005 and again from the start of 2009 until the sale and retains management responsibility for the Australian business until integration is complete. Being a CIMA qualified accountant (1984) Chris has been instrumental in the growth of the UK business, winning several major contracts from aerospace primes; and of particular relevance here maintaining the focus on developing capability and winning as much business for the Australian entity in spite of the significant challenges that the strong and globally uncompetitive economy bring to bear. He is a qualified accountant from CIMA and has completed his commerce degree from Liverpool University (1979). He has a rich finance and management experience having worked in Laporte Chemicals , BTR , Carrington Viyella, Van Heusen subsidiary , Berkeley Homes (SW) and the Wickes group of companies . |
